Jim Beaver’s Music Studios is Hendersonville’s well known school of music. Having taught nearly 1,000 students over the past decade, our reputation speaks for itself, and our approach sets us apart.
Having encountered so many different types of students on a variety of instruments over the past 10 years, one thing is evident to us: Students are not one size fits all, so their music lessons shouldn’t be either. Our instructors meet with each student on their first lesson, determine their goals, interests, and ability, and build a curriculum literally tailored to them.
We offer private and group lessons for:
-Acoustic Guitar

-Bass Guitar
-Violin (Classical and Suzuki)
-Fiddle
-Piano/Keyboard
-Drumset/percussion
-Ukulele
-Rock Band program where students perform publically around the community
-Monthly recitals, giving students experience performing before an intimate audience of friends, family and fellow students.

We truly have something to offer everyone, from the campfire strummer to the marching band percussionist: we have an instructor for you.
You’ve seen our teachers performing at the Flat Rock Playhouse, The Grove Park Inn, The Orange Peel, The Boiler Room, countless restaurants, coffee shops, and church sanctuaries. We are a community of musicians, training up the next generation of musicians.
Because we have so many instruments and instructors to choose from, we can almost always find a time slot that works conveniently with your busy schedule (that way you don’t get stuck learning “House of the Rising Sun” while the sun is ‘actually’ rising!!
Our 3,000 square ft. facility is complete with a Kids Korner filled with toys, TV, and video games, so there is something for the whole family while you wait.
