My son has taken drum lessons with Ryan Hoots for about 10 months now. Tyler has learned an amazing amount during this period of time. I’m very impressed with Ryan’s ability to keep my son’s attention, as well as keep him interested in skills such as learning to read music, instead of just beating the drums. I’ve had the privilege of hearing Ryan with a band a few months back and was blown away! Ryan is one of the best drummers I have ever heard. His ability to read any chart or piece of music put in front him is amazing, let alone his ability to play any genre of music. Amazingly talented, Ryan is a great teacher for any age, and I highly recommend him and Jim Beaver’s Music Studios.

He’s a great teacher, I love taking lessons from him. He takes songs I like to play and writes charts out for me, so I will practice reading music too. I think he is SICK on drums.
